Product description

Betocrete-CL-170-P is a crystallizing sealing admixture with plasticizing effect. It occurs in the form of an aqueous solution of inorganic salts, used as an additive in concrete or mortar. The operation of the admixture is permanent over time, and the sealing is an integral part of the concrete structure.

Technical data

  • colorless liquid
  • a slight smell
  • pH value at 20 C: 11
  • density at 20 C: 1.165 g / cm 3
  • kinetic viscosity at 20 C: 12 s (ISO 4 mm)
  • miscible with water
  • water reduction up to 10%
  • auto-ignition temperature: wyb does not threaten auto-ignition
  • explosive properties: the product is not explosive
  • consumption of 1.75-2.25% by weight of cement
  • for closing scratches in concrete up to 0.4 mm wide

The fact that the admixture is in liquid form prevents the concrete mix from caking and makes dosing easier. The product helps to prevent concrete corrosion by reducing the ion diffusion rate in chloride, and also increases resistance to thawing and freezing. It does not affect the effectiveness of other additives in concrete.
